The Barbara Crutchley Memorial Award is named for Barbara Crutchley, the President of CARA from 2009-2011. A respected leader in the profession, Barb was a warm, inclusive colleague, who continued to give generously of her expertise to the association year after year, including after her term as president.
This award provides an opportunity for CARA to recognize and support the efforts of a CARA Mentor who embodies Barb’s legacy of enhancing the profession of research administration and serving the association through the thoughtful mentorship of its members. The Award provides registration and accommodation for the national conference.
