Kyle currently works at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as the Audit Coordinator in the central office of Research & Sponsored Programs. UW-Madison manages a portfolio of awards that is over a billion dollars and is in the top ten of annual research expenditures. Kyle has been at his current position since April of 2017. He is the main liaison on any audit or review, internal or external. He is also an accountant on the NSF/DOE award team and is in charge of Subrecipient Monitoring for the office. In addition to this, he has also worked on internal investigations of R&D awards by request of sponsors. Lastly, he has given trainings to UW-Madison staff in relation to how the audit process works and how staff should be responding to requests and conducting themselves in interviews.

Prior to working at the University, Kyle was a financial auditor at the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau for 9 years. One of the audits he supervised was the Single Audit of UW-Madison. He is also a CPA and has an accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
